In Kolodischi, near Minsk, the Center of active rehabilitation of invalids was created 12 years ago. The district executive committee has allocated for it eight hectares of the ground on former tankodrome. Now here are premises, easting establishment, the block of labour rehabilitation, medical center, a sports hall, a bath, hothouses.

   Experts of the center work only with invalids on carriages and children with psychophysical lacks. Rehabilitation is going on three directions: a choreography and sports dances, labour rehabilitation (art embroidery, work in hothouses, care of rabbits, hens and female quails) and dialogue with the nature. Walks on horses are especially good for children suffering DTSP.

   All programs of the center are directed to achievement of the basic purpose - to impart interest to a life to those, who has got in a hard vital situation, to wake up hope and to force to believe in themselves, in limitlessness of their opportunities and abilities. In a word, to learn to survive during our uneasy time.

   All this is promoted by the International humanitarian fund in German Rosbach, the International federation of sports dances on invalid carriages, by cooperation with Moscow fund " Philanthropist " and, certainly, the possible help of local authorities.
